You will not need to purchase any other items to get all advertised functionality.

Most considerations were given to DUPLEX PRINTING (printing on both sides of a printed page automatically), NETWORK CONNECTIVITY, and TONER COSTS plus the other features that are available out-of-the-box with no other hardware required.
